I sent an email out to comp cams about a cam choice for my 1992 chevy pickup 2wd ,5 speed, 3:42 gears, getting a 5.3 in 2 weeks.I told them i wanted it to sound good at idle and good drivablity for the street.He recommended comp cam 222/224@.050 566/568 112 lsa.

WHat do you think?Truck will have LT headers,full dual exhaust and cai.Truck weighs 3800 lbs.

 

Should be sweet,with that lift you can use new budget minded LS6 springs

 

I thought maybe it was to big since most people go with the 220.That is good to know on the springs.
