100k+ 5.3 cam swap, additional parts??

Ok, you guys are going to save me some bucks then if I don't need a timing chain or oil pump either. Plus not having the hassle of removing the oil pan.

I'm going to get a parts list together and see what it all comes out to...

New lifters wouldnt be a bad idea..but not a must. The truck lifters seem to have issues. But replacing these wont be cheap since it involves removing the heads. Then youll have to worry about head bolts, head gaskets and lifter trays.

I did my cam swap at 155k, at the same time I also did a head swap and full exhaust.

I didn't touch the oil pump. It's got 10k miles since the swap with no issues, it's no longer my daily driver, so it probably won't get many more miles until a 402 goes in it.

I have 157ish km on it, stock timing chain and oil pump.
thinking of changing them when I put my new cam in tho, still have great oil pressure
