1 7/8" or 2" Headers?
 

I have Hooker 1 3/4" long tubes now and need some new ones. What size and what name brand? 443 rwhp 425 rwtq . Tell me which ones you would do?

IMO the 1-3/4 are plenty for your set up... no til you start passing the 550+ mark is where the ristrictions can but not always occur... and i would do a stepped header from 1-7/8" to 2" if infact you do want to get bigger headers

I agree with the stepped headers, if you want to go with such a large prime.. Also the 1 3/4 primes are ok for that kind of HP...

werd, 1 3/4 primaries is plenty big for you, i could see you complaining if you were running 1 5/8 dynatechs or something. about 600hp is when you need 1 7/8. and you definetely dont need 2" primaries

Id go with ARH 1 7/8"

Headers started rusting and leaking. I have heard that the L92 heads like big exhaust primaries due to low CFM numbers (190 cfm's @ .600" lift)? Seeing what you guys think? and recommend?

ARH is the only people who offer a 1 7/8 header for the trucks. but kooks f bod headers are supposed to fit.. If your looking for headers only, decide to got for 1 3/4 hit me up, I have some nice Stainless Works..
