08 4.8 to LQ9 6.0 conversion
 

i am considering doing a 6.0 on my truck but have a question about the harnesses, will the harness i have rn work on the 6.0?

Yes and no. If it’s a lq9, it’s a gen 3 which means the knock sensors are in different locations and the reluctor wheel will read differently as well. Can it work? Yes. Is it direct 100% slap in and go? No

Oh yeah did not read LQ9 definitely no it will be pretty hard

So many have done that their ways around all of those issues you bring up.

Yeah sure it isn't impossible and it is somewhat simple it just requires more parts and such that take away from the go fast stuff :burnout:
