'05 SSR intake swap
I have read all of the related threads...
but, I just want to confirm... this intake will: 1. direct fit my 2000 5.3L 2. allow direct fit of my stock fuel rails and injectors 3. allow direct fit of my stock cable-operated TB (for now) I have found one that I can pick up for $150...with about 3k miles on it... also...any additional info, concerns or issues that you guys could share would be greatly appreciated... Thanks, Al |
any Gen-III intake will fit genIII heads. only thing is if you go with a LS1/LS6 teh clearance for accessories comes into play, if I remember correctly the SSR is like the truck intake. fuel rails/injectors should fit no problem, and the tb iono. i coulda sworn the ssr tb was a 90mm.

it is a 90mm...but it is not cable-operated...I have been told
|
ls2 intake is 4 bolt like the fast. youll need a 4 bolt tb.
|
it is the 4 bolt 90mm, just get the plate that converts it to a 3 bolt or make your own.
|
It is a 90mm TB. Since you are a cable driven TB, you could get a NW 90mm TB and be good to go.

Is this worth doin a swap from the stock intake on a LQ4? Does it flow much better and etc?Just wondering the differance compared to doin a LS6 intake swap.
Considering doin a swap within a couple months. If this gives results like the LS6 why not? Any help would be great. |
