Default '05 GMC Z71 5.3 exhaust

What is a good deep sounding aftermarket exhaust for my '05 5.3L GMC. I had a '99 GMC 1500 classic (old body style) with a 5.0L Flowmaster cat back I liked the sound of that now I am looking for something a little louder any suggestions?

flowmaster is still obnoxiously loud and annoying, if you want it to be louder than your 5.0 i don't think you'd have a problem.

Doesn't mean they're worth a crap, i've had all my catbacks custom made from parts i ordered, and all the muffler's i've ordered have by dynomax.

My personal opinion is that Magnaflow makes the best flow/sound combo available. I have heard that flowmasters have actually slowed trucks at the track.

I'm a fan of dynomax bullets.

Hooker Aerochamber. 1. Because it sounds great and flows great and I have ZERO resonance even though its dumped in the stock location. My old Magnaflow (18 inch case) droned like crazy at 2200 or so, and that was a full exhaust all the way out the back, at 45 deg. off the corner.

2. Its got the word Hooker in it. Love me some Hookers.

I have a 06 crewcab with the 5.3 and i just put a 3" Dynomax bullet and tundown before the axel and it sounds great. Not too obnoxious loud because i still have cats but it has a nice meaty loud tone when you stomp it. Doesnt resonate anywhere near as bad as my dual 2.5" bullets with x-pipe on my old truck.

Id throw a bullet on there and be done with it. Sounds good and costs much less!

The aerochamber is a relatively quiet muffler unless your running no cats.
