I've been searching alot, but really haven't found what I'm looking for.

I'm putting an 04 5.3 into a 99 ranger to use as a desert truck.

Is there a cam that will make a big difference in the lower end?

I have shorty headers, that I repostioned the flanges on, for it and a painless harness. I need to get a cable throttle body.

Any other bolt ons that will help out?

And what fuel pump should I run?

 

I'd put a 212/218 114LSA high rise from comp cams.

 

I agree. There is a lot of useable power in that cam.
