good luck man! I wouldn't even be worried about it.

so I swapped my MC with a new car quest one and it feels about the same . Man, when I get this low pedal fixed, this thig is going to be a blast! I'm going to end up lengthening the rod on the MC.

I cut about 1/4" ofa piece of pipe, basically a washer, and stuck it in the pocket that the master cylinder rod snaps into. Now the pedal feels perfect! I'm having a lot of fun driving it. It needs a little idle tuning and I need to wire the pedal switch in but it's working for now. Thanks for letting me piggy back on your thread and for all the advice.

Is this worth doing yourself I feel this is a little much to do at home how much would somebody charge to do this?

I did it at home in a garage. no lift.

I did it in my driveway on jack stands. It was worth it to me!

Guys that have an NV4500, are you still using the OEM clutch from a 6.0 2500? I am and have no complaints so far just seeing what other people are running

That's all I used. I've only been driving it for a couple days but with my rear end gear ratio, it feels like it's going to lift the front tires off the ground from 1st to 2nd!

What gears do u have? I have 4.10s and 33s I start everywhere in second causr first is so low. I like it for towing and off road tho. I've put around 8k on my NV4500 and recently made a 1200mile trip towing 7k no problems at all.

I got the stock gears (3.73). I just pulled a trailer about 1200 miles and it worked great. Picked up some noise from the left front wheel about 80% of the way there. Sounds like a front hub but its got 210k miles on it so oh well.

I use the first gear for hills and the trailer. It works OK but it can be kind of jerky in some situations. Maybe its in the tuning.

My electronic stability control seems tuned for the open AWD the SUV originally was so I have to turn it off in certain situations. Sometimes in 4WD or when I am in 2WD and putting a slight amount of heat on the rear tires it doesn't like it.

My worries are the wiring im not very good with that. How did you cut the floor for the t-case and shiftier what mounted the Manuel t-case selector to the truck? Would this tranny hold 500 hp?
