Yank sc3000

Mainly looking for reviews from guys that own or have been in a truck with this converter. Dave recommended this for my setup, I completely trust his opinion on his product but wanted to hear some real world results. 2006 2wd cc with a 6.0, small cam 212/218 and prc heads, 10.2:1 na...Im gathering parts for a kb turbo/4l80e swap. Im really concerned this converter is going to be to loose for my tastes, it is my dd and im going to keep my 3.23's. The truck will never see a track, I just want something fun to drive, I'm shooting for 500whp after the turbo. With 3.23's and the longer 80's first gear do I need that much converter? I'm leaning towards the sc2800 just to be a little more conservative...opinions please...thanks!! BTW kb has spec'd a bb mp72 for quicker spool time, if that matters...

Mine worked well for me with the 3.73's and the 4.10's. I daily drive and also tow with my truck. IMO, it's not too loose at all, and I've cut a couple 1.6x's with it as well.
I'm sure your setup would be different, with the gearing & turbo setup. I'd guess that it would act tighter in your truck than it does in my truck for daily driving.

This converter will put a load on the turbo that will leave you with a chub. Have you ever had a loose converter? I dd mine and couldnt be happier with it. When I ordered mine Dave said he was about done with the SC2800 and was going to do the SC3000 only because the differences were so small.
