WOT converter locking up ?

I wouldn't do it for a few reasons...
You are asking A LOT from a converter if its a 245mm..your converter clutch will most likely start giving out before to long. They say the triple disc converters are best for WOT lockup, but even then your input shaft and sprag will not like life if the lockup is to firm. Also if the input drum is not sleeved that might be a weak link as well.
To me the stall converter acts as a pillow between shifts, you take that away and you shorten your trans life.
I don't have any real results but on most NA setups I think you might only gain a tenth and maybe a mph or two...
GREENSIERRA ha a multidisc converter and a modified valvebody to help support the sprag, this helps when WOT lockup is used

ive been doing alot of searching and have found that it is not a good idea but it is in my tune i need to get with my tuner and have him adjust it i put a set of 4.11s in hoping it would help they have made a difference on my 1-2 shift as it stays in the power band with this converter but as soon as it shifts into third it seems to fall on its face unless im on bottle and even then it doesent pull like it should

All stock 4l80e's lock in 2nd gear at WOT and the 60e/6570e lock at WOT in 3rd gear.
ECM/PCM tuning can disable this.
My 97 would lock just ater the 2-3 upshift at 75mph and it realykilled acceleation, getting rid f it was woprth a tenth in teh 1/4 mile.
