i run mine thru the stock radiator cooler, and then thru a perma cool trans cooler, and then thru a B&M trans cooler..
still seeing temps up to 200* if I am laying into it on the freeway, say 100+ mph for long periods of time...( I was testing )
if I am not doing that then the temps wont get above 180*

well the reason i asked is cause i was planning on aquiring a medium cooler and running it conjunction with my stock cooler. but looking at the stocker, that bastard is small. i might as well go with a big cooler vice hassling with fitting a cooler in around the stock unit then running them together.

I'm thinking the same thing. Ditch the stocker I have and just go with a big aftermarket unit. Cleans the area up a little, who needs all that crap behind the grill, looks like an Octopuss getting it on with your truck!!

Mine is running thru the 34" radiator first then thru a B&M Supercooler. In the heat my temps dont get over 180 in the heat. Come winter time, tranny temps hover around 150 according to the Escalade tranny temp guage.

the tranny builder recommended leaving it in the rad and running a medium cooler in conjunction with the stocker or if i get rid of the stocker go with a large unit. i am just gonna have to wait till i order something and then try to get it to work before i decide which route i am gonna officially take.
