Default Wheel Speed Sensor Recall

Hey Guys, I wondering if anyone could give me a little information about a wheel speed sensor recall on a 2002 Silverado 4x4. The abs wants to kick in at 5 to 10 mph speeds when you try to press the brake. The answer I'm looking for is if I should replace the speed sensor would it correct the problem? Thanks guys.

It could be the wheel sensor but also rust on the hub would cause the sensor deform from under the sensor. When you take the sensor out look at it and see if its still flat. If not repalce the sensor and clean up the rust. Becareful when taking the sensor out you can destroy it.

Why not just take it in for the recall?
