Default wheel hop on a 2001 chevy single cab 1500

when i hit the gas on first and shift to second my truck ends up jumping in the back. i have heard of trac bars but im not that rich lol. i heard of leaf spring clamps. will they help?

clamps with help some. Traction bars are the only real cure!!

And a 4 link or ladder bar setup

OP, you can make your own traction bars for about $100-$150 and a few hours of time, there are a few good posts on here about DIY bars
