How big do you want to go? Size tire you want to run? What budget do you have?

I just put 18inch black fuel rims with 33inch nitto trail grapplers on it and it's rubbing.
I'm just wanting to do a 4 inch lift so my tires look porportional.
I'll do the install myself so that will give me around 1500 to spend!

Most manufacturers have a 6". BDS has a 4.5" for roughly $1800. Zone has a 6" for about $1200. Tuff country has a 4" & 6", both for roughly $1400. Fabtech and RCD both have 6". They are both about $1800. The RCD comes with bilsteins. All these other kits come w/ white body generics. You can upgrade any of them to bilsteins for about $200 more.

You didn't specify rim width or backspace. All of the above kits are knuckle kits, so they are back space sensitive. You could do the 4" or do a 6" and lay it down a touch.

Tough Country.

Its what i have on my Dmax, and lots and lots of diesel trucks run tough Country and sled pull, they dont break, and cost less than other kits. Nuff Said.

I would stay away from fab tech IMO.

In my opinion Fabtech is the best out there. I've had three including a Rancho, a Whiplash and a Fabtech and Fabtech is my favorite. Easy to install. Designed to save your stock ride and strong built.. Just my opinion though.

Rough country has the cheapest kit but their kits are always a little short. I would do a BDS or a fab tech if I were to do it over

depends what you find . you want flat cv angles and some kits out there will give you bad ones.

some say fab tech sucks but i beg to differ. i lifted my 08 3500 cclb for under 2k with a used kit . i upgraded to new style knuckles(they dont push the front wheels out as much so they are even with the rear) i added an EXXACT steering kit , which is a billet centerlink and idler and pitman supports with hugh tie rods . this is one of the areas in gm's that is the weak link and with big tires goes out fast . i also got atlas leafs included in the deal along with dual shock hoops and bilstein 7100 shocks with res. you just need to shop around and you can make something good even better. i got my 37 toyos and 20's for around 2k brand new and last added some amp research steps. I did custom shocks in the rear(bilstein 5100 short body shocks x4) with custom mounting and a set of carli suspension long travel airbags. i have over 35k on this setup and it feels as good as new. it took me a couple days in the shop to install but i know it was done right .

imo keep your eye out for used kits on gmfs and youll save a ton. i highly recommend the exxact kit for any guys going lifted , your front end will love you .
