i have a 2010 silverado and wanted to know what gears to go with. Right now i have 3.08 with a 33" tall tire. this is my dd and i dont race my truck i was thinking 3.73 but it sounds like alot of guys like the 4.10 i just didnt know if that was to much for a dd. also has anyone had any luck with motive gears since i am 4wd i will have to do bothfront and rear gear change.

with the 33inch tires I would go 4.30 or 4.56. I have 35's and went with 4.56, it was not enough now I'm swapping out the 4.88's.

Pm Ron, PerformanceTrucks.net Forums - View Profile: RONS MACHINING SERVICE this is a very top notch place to buy from.

HowStuffWorks "Gear Ratio and Tire Size Chart"

on the chart it showed my 4.56's at 2845rpm but I was only turning 2200.
