I'm hopeing you can give me some sound advice on what tranny will suit my needs . I drive a 03 Z-71 suburban with all the bolt ons and tune and need a tranny that will hold up with no (TM) in the tune. I'm on a budget so I'm hopeing your level 3 would be stout enough. What concerns me is the weight of the truck with no (TM) it really puts stress on the tranny. I'm also going to buy a new converter for the tranny and was wondering if you have some kind of package deal? I also wondering how high of a STALL I should run? I'm looking for better performance but need it to be city and towing friendly. Thanks for any input and look forward to doing business with you. Thanks...Scott

Vince will probably chime in tomarrow, but why not add 20% of TM? You really will not feel the difference, and your tranny & drivetrain life will greatly appreciate it.
Vinces tranny may take the abuse of 0% TM, but your u-joints, differentials, and transfer case will be taking a dump on you.

Jim thanks for the responce. I really want all the power that my motor has to offer with out the TM retarding my timeing. I am only pushing about 250hp to the wheels do you really think that could blow my transfer case? I've read that they are pertty stout. I can see the G80 going and maybe the u joints but I'm not really worried about that. How tough is the transfer case and what is the weak spots? Thanks!

Hey Scottt, The level 4 is really what I recommend for most all of the truck guy's with bolt on's and head-n-cam applications. The reason is because it comes with a sleaved input drum which is a huge help for that trans. The level 3 is for minor bolt ons and really don't recommend it for a truck with a stall. As far as a tc I would suggest on going with a vig 10.5 with about a 2400-2800 stall. It will be a good all around tc for your needs. We are currently running a 10% off special on all transmissions throught the end of tomorow. Do you know what you truck has for rwhp #'s? Also what plans do you have for the future? Let me know if you have any other questions, Vince.

Dont even worry about your t-case, I have put over 500rwhp through it and its still ticking, there are many who have pushed it further than I have also. U-joints hsould be fine too, still on the stockers, the G-80 on the other hand...
