They were both stock GM from the latest 4l65e TBSS GM has. Supposedly they are cryoed and peened from the factory. Guess that's not enough, lol

Notice the one on the bottom also has twisted splines too

Well of course First was brake boosting a 4x4 launch and second was a hard 1-2 shift after a hard, break boosted, 4 wheel hopping launch , but I've seen then brake just like yours on NA apps just from hard 1-2 shifts.

I do not see why you keep having stock *** trans put back into the truck, knowing that it is big and heavy, that your driving habits is a little harder then most...

I'm not afraid to post parts that I have broke. Why does it have to be wall of shame?

Thats pretty slick. I bet it sounded pretty cool to! I haven't broke a output shaft, but I have tore an input drum into two pieces. Funny enough, I was able to drive in 1st and 2nd with a two piece input drum.

Doing work, RJ! Very nice carnage. So I'm guessing this is the original shaft? From all 7 of your rebuilds?

Thank you. Yeah it's the stock shaft from the original trans, well to my knowledge. I think I'm going to find all the pictures of everything that I have broke in the last 4 years.

They are shot peened that I do know for fact. I do not believe they are cryo treated and to be honest I do not think cryo treating these shafts does anything because of the original hardening done to these parts. I played with some cryo parts a while back and seen wear and failures just lake any that were not treated. Just my two cents here. Vince
