What is the min/max time its taking for you guys to install the transgo kit? I've seen hours to days on here. How many hours are typical?

 

set aside an afternoon to take your time and be patient... its not hard, you just need to pay attention to detail and follow the instructions EXACTLY!!!!

 

Is there a better set of instructions that I can get my hands on? The ones that come with the HD2 kit are somewhat subpar for my novice needs.

 

read them a few times over befor you try to take it out... then once you do get the valve body unbolted and out of the truck, look at them again and it will make sense to you... its an easy job, but like I said, you have to pay extreme attention to detail and make sure everything is lined up when you go back together with it. gaskets, sep plate, accumulator, everything... or it wont shift/work properly and may even starve some parts of the tranny for fluid and could lead to you burning it up... not trying to scare you away from it but there's things that can go wrong when you do your first one... Just learn from my mistake LOL... I would do it again in a second though... its not a bad job..
