Default transgo hd2

hey guys, ive read that alot of you guys are running a transgo hd2 kit in a 4l60 but i have a question that i couldnt find the answer for.
ive got an 03 rcsb 5.3 2wd and i was wandering how hard it shifts just driving easy on the street if you drill it to the "full race" .093 size in stead of the smaller. any input much app.!

My understanding is that most guys go with the lightest setting first. The shifts can be pretty aggresive on the street.

You can also adjusted this in the Tune as well.

Wot shifts will spin the tires. I think the first two the lightest and the last one the mid size is what people suggest. Can always drill it bigger.

When using this kit I always drill to the smallest hole on the 1-2 shift. For the 2-3 if using a stock converter I will use the .093 with anything over 2800 I go to .105-.110 and 4th gear do what you want but I usually go .093 or larger. Keep in mind that the 1-2 shift is the one we feel the most and by the time you get to third gear the load has been reduced so shift feel is not as noticeable. I honestly have started using the sonnax kit in my builds and have received excellent reviews. If you do use the hd2 kit use the least amount of washers in the 1-2 accumulator housing and follow the feed hole mentioned above. If the 1-2 shift its to much for you just install the original 1-2 accumulator springs and this should tone it down for you. HTH Vince
