Exclamation Trans temp w/ stall ?

I have a 4L60e with a 3200 stall. Have already installed a Tru-Cool 40k trans cooler also. Weather here in SC has been rough last few weeks 90-100+. I was in stop and go traffic a good bit today an my trans temp reached around 170. I was wondering what temperature range do you want to stay away from with the stall? I know the cooler the better but wasnt sure what Temperature is "to hot". Thanks for the input

sweet looking truck man! anyways....i think 170 is just fine. Mine reached 190 a couple times with my 3200/stock trans cooler. i was getting on it at the time during some texas heat however ive decided when i start driving the truck again im going to order the 40k as well. Id say stay below 190 and ur fine

X2, but if you want to play try and have the trans less than 170*, imo...

Based on the info I have read 160-170 is ideal.
