Default trans temp gauge

is it possible to put a trans temp guage on my 1999 gmc seirra? if so how would i go about it?... has 5.3 4l60e trans i believe

Yes..
Look for a Automer Trans Temp gauge.
Its goin to come with a 1/8" NPT sensor, you can remove the pressure port plug above the Park Neutral Safety switch on the driver side of transmission. Put sensor in and good to go.

awesome thanks im wanting to do a afr meter in a a piller pod thing but want more than one guage so i was thinking trans temp...

or get a 2500 gauge cluster with trans temp plug and play plus I droped 50k in 5 min

or get the torque app on a smartphone and an elm327 bluetooth adapter and read alot of different parameters

My aero force gauges read trans temp as well as like 30 other parameters.

Same here. I am using AeroForce Scan gauge (interceptor gauge) to read trans temp and other parameters from ecu.

It connects to OBD II connector and gives you all data in to readings at the same time. It can read DTC and clears it.
