trans and oil cooler install
 

Did some searching and ran across a thread were a guy was running both in the front.

Was wondering if anyone else does it?

Also, which cooler do most people run?

Jegs sell both the 24000 and 28000 GVW coolers -

the 24K is 11x6x1.5
the 28K is 11x8x1.5
Summit also carrys a monster one - its 11x11x1.5

What else would I need as far as adapters? I have a stock tranny cooler. I saw that some just hooked up hose and clamps and others used fittings and such

Lastly is this oil cooler kit good?

If it's for the engine, one is enough. The B&M cooler ain't bad, but if you got the stock adapter, use it. I would run some aeroquip hoses or braided hoses to the front of the condenser underneith the radiator etc, and mount it in front. The rubber oil lines will get severly dammaged if allowed to touch anything they can vibrate on while driving. Rubber hoses and that sandwich adapter is big trouble. Since the radiator keeps the oil at around 180, you don't need a thermostat, but if you use the B&M, you're gonna need one inline.
