Trans cooler is done. Tru cool still best?

I saw the posts about the PSD cooler, but then saw the cost on a new one and just got the tru cool. Has anyone run 2 of the 40k coolers in series? I could easily stack another one in front of the radiator. I saw max trans temps of low 140s with the 40k and stock 80e converter but now have a 3400 TC but haven't got the truck running as of yet. I am slightly concerned about trans temps as I do not want a premature trans failure. I have seen trans temps well into the 190s-200 F after hard dig runs on a 3800-4000 stalled truck with the tru cool.

That hose sounds like it'll do fine. You just need something that's capable of good connections and compatible with oil obviously. You want it good to several hundred psi and up to 400ish degrees IMO... I ran some way overkill stuff for a while, Teflon inside braided stainless inside braided nylon. Good for a ton of pressure. Re did the lines and went to some cheaper push-lok stuff and it did the job just as well.
I flogged that truck... Never had a trans temp problem though that wasn't caused by a failure. The cooling was always the least of my concern once I went to those coolers.

I cant believe that a trans cooler costs $400. Thats a retarded price, but OEM stuff usually is priced crazily. That damn ego part of our brains wins out sometimes.
