Default Trans cooler debate

Right now I have my trans cooler in front of my IC in my grill and around town it stays at like 160 to 170. If I race, tow or plow it stays around 200, I know thats not outrageous but my IATs are getting too high in the top end of the track and pulling timing so Id like for the IC to get all the air it can get. I like to put the cooler behind it but im afraid its gonna start warming up my trans. Right now I have a plate and fin B&M cooler that 11x11x1.5, the biggest one they have.

So Im hoping my temps would stay the same if I got a bigger cooler. I know the tru cool 40k is tried and true but I have a gift certificate to summit, and summit doesnt sell them. I did find that factory 3rd gen dodge ram 1/2 ton coolers are pretty big, the specs list them at 14 inches tall so its got to be about 24 inches long

So should I try some uncharted territory and test it out?

Looks like a decent size cooler, but those hard lines surely will have to be modified.

Also I can't speak on how moving the IC will affect IAT's but part of me thinks the trans cooler infront isn't affecting it too much.

Use the summit gift card for meth kit
