Unhappy Tranny Problems Already ....

So I have had my truck back for a few hours and it will not go from a stop in drive. But if i put it in first manually or second then it will move.

Now on a hill if I have it in drive it will roll backwards.

So I"m guessing something is broke already and it's time to move to a 4l80e.

Thanks for looking

Marc

That sucks!!!! Sounds like a pump problem, I had that happen once on a 700-r4. Did you just have your 4l60 rebuilt or just add some goodies?

Oh, dunno. Did you install yourself, torque converter not in good maybe, don't know though, 4l80 might be your best bet.

Damn, get the tow-truck out before the kids make it their jungle gym, lol! Thats a lot of motor though the 80 is probably the most reliable choice for you.
