Default Tranny problems

Can custom tuning (i.e. transmission tuning) cause a torque converter to fail or other parts of the tranny to fail? Ever since I came back from San Antonio my transmission has been acting up.

Well it was ticking or tapping really bad when ever it was in gear, but not in neutral or park. I had the torque converter replaced and the noise went away, transmission shop said the old torque converter was bad. Now a week later I am noticing the ticking noise has come back, once again in gear only not park or neutral and you can only hear it a lower speeds (its very faint).

I was thinking line pressures and such and lack of fluid, but then I dont know much about tuning.

If the line pressures are cranked up too high, that can be bad...

Nelson's is the one that tuned it, I am sure that he knows what he is doing, but its odd that this has been happening since I came from their shop.

Yes I did, but he couldnt think of anything that would cause it. I am sure that it most likley didn't cause it.
