I was just giving a price on the GM TB stall for reference . I like the DACCO stall better, because from what I've been told ALL DACCO stalls have furnace brazed fins, where the factory TB stall are not.
that's a good price. what does it flash stall to? being yours is an EC 4x4 it will be heavier than mine and would prolly stall slightly higher than it would in mine.

The 4.8, doesnt make a lot of low end torque when not in boost, so it only flash stalls to about 2200 or so in my truck. But it will brake stall pretty fast to 3000 and 6lbs of boost. It does feel a lot stronger around town then the stock stall did.

yeah got it installed, I stalled it to about 2400rpm and the tires still didnt break loose... but once I let go of the brake I have no traction... which sucks... I think it will stall up higher than 2400 but since my truck is running like **** cause Im on the stock tune I just didnt want to push it... I think this TC is going to work real good with my cam if I ever get to hook!!! for the 20th I got some extra stocker wheels in the garage that I am going to air out to about 20psi and hope it hooks a little....
