Default Touque wont seat after rebuild silverado

hey so i tore apart my 4l60e in my 2000 silverado
i replaced the burned out clutch’s and got the tranny all back together.
went to put it in and the tourque converter wont seat

after a couple hours i got frustrated and thinking there must be something togeather wrong i pulled it all back apart and put it togeathet again, tryed t/c still wont seat. Had it apart a few times i dont understand any possible issues it could have
can anyone give me some advise on what to check or try and what could be wrong?
thanks guys

just done this the other day, have to have the converter at the right angle to get it to seat (dont let it sit on the shaft) hold it and turn it until its seats

you can check with a straight edge and measure how far in the mounting pads are to see if by chance it is seated

the 4l60e's i think was like 1 1/4" from bellhousing to converter bolt plates

While holding the back of the converter, spin it while applying pressure with your hand.

It should seat or clunk 2x. Measure to confirm it's seated.
