Comp cams mutha thumpr cam 227/241
K&n -pace setter headers

4000+ how does it drive with the stocker converter?

J.luna5 09-28-2011 11:36 PM

I feel a lag when I'm at a light and try to go but when I floor it at a 30 roll it's a beast once it hits 50 it's a hard shift tho

By the way this is my 1st truck and 1st time to mod so pretty new to this

the split on that cam is pretty excessive, not the best cam choice for that motor IMO.... you would see more power and driveability out of a TR224 i think and you could run a smaller stall. what made you want to run that cam? and also do you daily drive this truck?

wrong section btw lol

J.luna5 09-28-2011 11:53 PM

Ha I know someone already said that but like I said I was new to this when I chose the cam but it's in now but seriously thinking of a switch and yes I drive it daily
