torque converter flush
is there a way to flush the torque converter? if i'm going to have to replace my trans i would like to keep my yank tt3000. seems i should flush it though.?.

ship it back to yank, have them check it and maybe restall it while it is there?

$$$$$$$$$$$$ :bang:

called yank, they said to drain it over night and see how it looks. maybe even try an old shop vac. then pour some more fluid in and repeat. if its not too bad run it if it is bad then send it back. 175+shipping.

I had a local trans shop flush out my trailblazer stall for $20. There were metal shavings in it but they think they got it all out. I haven't installed it yet so I don't know for sure.
|
how did they do it?

I found a local shop that would cut my yank 3000 open and clean it for $110, so just ask around.

can you trust a shop to open and weld up another brand TC? i'm saying you buy one from a kown good company to make sure you get top quality then you give to random joe to cut open and weld close? maybe its not that big of a deal i dunno.
