Tech Help needed.. Please Help!!!

I need some help from anyone that may know.
I bought a 97 Chevy single cab that was slamed to the ground.

Here is what was on the truck.
All Parts are DJM

Front
2" Drop Spindles Part# DJM-DS20562
3" Drop Springs Part # DJM-CS23513
DJM Shocks Part# DJM-1315

Back
4/6 Flip kit Part#DJM-FK10256
With Rear shackle
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok I wanted to raise the truck to a 2/4 drop so on the front I put the factory springs back in it.

On the back I fliped the rear end back and removed the flip kit. Then installed a hanger and shackle kit. Part#DJM-HS11214

According to DJM this is the correct way but the truck is really high in the back and low in the front. I do not know exactly whats wrong.

It will have alittle rake do to the front tires being shorter.
Rear tires= 275-60-R15
Front Tires= 255-60-R15

Here is what it looks like.

Thanks

The front looks about right for a 2" drop and that size tire, but the rear is definetly too high. I can't think of what the hell would cause it to be like that though.

You've got it put back together correctly. I think form what I can see, is you may need a drop shackle that has a greater rear drop. The one you have posted up looks like an OEM size shackle.

TORQUE WRENCH IS RIGHT

DEFINITELY.... THAT LOOKS LIKE THE STOCK ONE IM LOOKING AT...

those hangers look a little funny, are you sure they're mounted right? Also there's a pretty good chance that the stock springs have started sagging. The rear won't be as bad because of the overload leaf. I saw throw the flip kit back one and run a 2/6.

the rear shackle is NOT a stock one. Do you have the leaf spring bolt in the top hole? I can't remember if those have 2 or 3 holes in them. You may have to remove one leaf from the spring pack. I think I removed the next to the last one on mine.

Thank you guys for your responce. I had a local buddy raise it up for me. Unfortintly we did not have all the stock parts for the truck since I bought it this way.

The hangers bracket uder the rtear end is something he got from someone else. We did not have the factory one. According to what I was told. Fliping the rear end back like it is now and adding the front hanger would put it at the right level and the truck should sit right. So that is what we did. The truck is now suppose to be a 2/4 drop.

Ok so the shakle in the last picture? It was on the truck already.

that IS a djm 2" drop shackle. I am possitive on that. The hangers are also 2" djm drop hangers. That isn't the problem. You have 4" worth of drop compontnets on your truck.

Everything looks correct except for MAYBE the 2" drop hangers. Are you absolutely sure they are installed right? They look a little funny to me for some reason.

I have tried to call DJM to see if I could email them some pics and get some better help than the tech guy just guessing. I have been shot down both times. They do not care to look at pics and see if any of this stuff is even the correct factory or after market parts. There answer is buy a bunch of factory stuff and start over. There customer service SUCKS........... I know we have people send us pics all the time when they know nothing about something and we are more than able to look at the pics and get a pretty good idea of what is going on. I am pretty fustrated. So with absolutly no factory tech help I am 100 percent at your guys mercy to get this right.
Thanks
Dave
