Default Suspension failure.....almost

I took my truck to a new place get the oil changed today and the tech wanted me to come out and look at an issue. The passenger side hanger had cracked all the way across. The only thing supporting the shackle is the thru bolt. The one on the driver's side is partially cracked as well. Anyone else experience this issue?

Thanks.

Here's the pic. This is on the passenger side. When the tech first showed me this, it was not twisted like this. This is after I drove it home.

Just got home from getting a quote to have this repaired. $180 to clean, weld and reinforce the hanger. Damn.

I'm lucky this was found before it failed at 70 MPH on the freeway with my daughter in the truck. I woulda been sick if that happened.

Eh, why not call a salvage yard, get them to cuts you 2 off a junk truck, take a torch, or grinder and cut your old ones off, and get good grade 8 bolts and lock nuts AND washers and spend you 1-2 hours and fix it for less than $75
