Shift kit and servo in wifes truck how hard will it shift?

I am wanting to put a shift kit in my wifes Yukon XL. The Transgo SK 4L60E and add a billet servo. Not sure if a Vette servo would be best or if an aftermarket would be better. I don't want it to bark the tires but just a little firmer. How does this combo sound and how hard would the shift kit be to install? Thanks

at WOT it should snap your neck a little and shouldnt be to bad just cruising but however there is a sweet speed around 10-15 mph in my truck that if i really ease to it it will shift hard.

Would you think too hard for your wife and two kids to ride in? I primarily use the truck for tow so that is why I am wanting to do it.

Just dont use any washers. One washer is too harsh for most.

A servo and shift kit can be harsh at times. If you don't want a harsh 2ed gear shift just do the shift kit that might actually be best for towing.

Would that help the tranny when towing? Do I just get a Vette Servo or get an afterkarket servo? Let me know I have always done this when rebuilding the tranny never on one that was working fine.

Should I consider adding a Trailblazer stall would that also help performance, towing abilities, and gas mileage?

i used 2 spacers with mine and my girlfriend has gotten used to it, but i do get comments about it. use 1 or 0 spacers (shims) and it should be very tolerable

On the 4th servo does the tranny have to come out? If my searching has proved correct you just have to remove the heat shield from the converters to install the Vette servo which I think controls the 1-2 shift. What do you have to do for the 4th servo?

If this is for the wifes ride and towing I would only do the shift kit. Give FLT a call they will set you up with the right combo.
