Default SFI Bell for 80E?

Anyone seen one? Google searches come up with 2 or 3 "we are working on one", but I have not actually seen one for sale. Plenty availble to adapt the 80E to Ford, Mopar and others, but not for GM.

Extreme Automatics has one, and so does TCI. But right now, you have to send in your bellhousing/front pump, as it has to be put on the mill. Also not cheap, IIRC, its about $700-800 (I'd hope the bell is included for that).

I can understand them wanting you to send in a pump cover but why the bell/case? Hell a sawzall and a grinder is all you need to do it on a 400 or a 350. Granted a milled case is sexy but it just does not make sense to me.

Extreme is one of the "we are working on it" ones that I found. I believe that CK Performance was another.

I Recently received some promotional material from Comp/TCI that mentioned the Reid Racing bell on their 6X 6 speed which they state is 80E based. This pic shows a Ford bell on it.

Have you asked Extreme lately? Maybe he's finished with it? I just remembered, Quicktime has a bell for the 80E in front of a Chrysler engine, and they were working on a Chevy version (this was sometime last year, and they said 90 days out). Maybe send them an email as well.

I will definitely be checking into it if I go with an 80E again.
