Same Suspension Valving on 2017 SLE and SLT
So i'm going to be buying a new truck here in the next month or so. I really like the SLT, but cant fathom paying $55k for a pickup truck (thats a really nice BMW 535i with a tune).
My next option is the SLE. However, every dealer around here only sells the SLE's with 16" rims (my current 2012 SLE came with 20" denali rims).
My question is, if it get a 2017 SLE and throw the chrome/black 20" or 22" SLT rims on the truck, are the shocks valved for that?
I used to race supercross for a living, so please dont try and say that the weight of a wheel wont effect the ride very much. We used to run carbon fiber hubs due to the advantages.
So ultimately, my question is if GM valves shocks different according to the rims/package that comes on the truck?

We all know the weight of the wheel effects ride, but comparing a race bike to an SUV sounds pretty silly. Does GM care, probably not. They are more likely to valve the shock to the spring than to the wheel size. I know that's how Hotchkis has done there TVS systems in the past.
I'll go with Arthur on this and say they are all the same accept (correct me if I'm wrong) the brand new RST Tahoe has some kind of electric ride control. Others have air ride to, I think.
