Default Reuse Bearing with a TrueTrac swap?

I will be ordering my gears, and truetrac this weekend and I was wondering/hoping I can reuse my bearings. My current bearings only have 40k on them...

bearings aren't that expensive, since you'll be installing a new differential you'll also need the carrier shim pack to ensure that it's spaced correctly, after all that you might as well spring for the 'master install kit' Installing gears is not something I do myself, so I made sure that I would have no problems with it when it was done the first time.

The mini install kit includes the shim pack.

A couple buddies of mine are going to help me install them, they are GM techs so they will be supervising besides I have always wanted to learn how to set them up. I guess I will price out some bearings, but I figured only 40k on factory bearing they should be fine... Anyone else use the bearing?

That's cool, the only thing scary about depending on reusing the bearings is if you mess one up removing it. If I remember right they are only about $10 each at the part store, might as well get new ones to save the trouble of even removing the old bearings.... that's just my opinion, but I'm kinda lazy sometimes and I don't have tools to press off the bearings without damaging them

Your right, I will go ahead and get some bearings. I would hate to get it all apart and have one bust and then have to go to the store.. I have previously used Timken (sp) on wheel bearings and never had a problem with them. Any particular brand I shold buy?
