Around town mine seems okay too, a little stiff, but okay. At highway speeds it has problem when I go over a bump, such as a pothole or a rough patch.

I broke those shock relocater brackets on mine. I use stock length bilstein HD shocks on mine but i welded on all new brackets. It rides like a dream.

The Belltech brackets do look flimsy. Any pics of them broken? I wonder if welding them on would work better?

No pics. But i had to weld it back together. Honestly they don't help that much with restoring the angle or length in my opinion.

Are you using a pinon shim as well as the carrier bearing kit by chance? I ask because this could be the problem.

As far as shock extensions are concerned you should not need em with a 4" drop. I would verify that you have part number 2212FF for the rear shocks.

I personally have Street Performance on my truck with a 8" drop without any complaints. The Nitro Drop 2s are a bit softer but wouldn't fix your shudder problem you are experiencing.

They are indeed 2212FF. I have 6* pinions shims, fat end forward so they rotation the front of the diff down. I also have the Belltech carrier bearing relocation kit. I measured the pinion angle and it seems okay, forgot the exact value though.

Doesn't vibrate at any other time even under hard acceleration.

What is the correct way to measure pinion angle again? I did a search and got mixed info.

Belltech's Shackle/Hanger kit comes with a 1* shim. Part number 4973

If you would have purchased the Belltech shackle/Hanger kit it would have came with a 1* shim. Part# 4973.

I would assume 6* is a bit much considering how you are lowered and the amount of drop.
