Exclamation P1860 Code, reads as TCC Solenoid, symptoms inside, any help is appreciated

The other day, my truck threw a CEL, hooked up my reader and it said p1860, looked it up online and its the TCC (lockup) solenoid for a 4L60E. Prior to this, for about 2 weeks, he truck ran somewhat rough when it locked up, like occasional shuddering and complaints, kinda like a shitty clutch on a manual. Then after the CEL, the truck will no longer lock up. When its started cold, it runs as it would, no CEL, w/o a lockup command til temperature, then when it comes to temp the CEL lights and theres no lockup. Truck runs smooth as butter through all gears, no shuddering in OD. I'm assuming my lockup solenoid was going bad and finally kicked the bucket, can anyone confirm this?

also, trans guy quoted 75 to replace solenoid out the door, cost of parts included. Good deal?

Sounds like a good deal to me. However if your solenoid failed was it caused by debris or did it just electrically just fail? I guess when the pan comes down you will know the answer to this. Vince
