Ordered a Precision Industries Vigilante converter

Thumbs up Ordered a Precision Industries Vigilante converter

Vigilante Torque Converters | Precision Industries

4L60E 10.5" Multi-Disc Lock-Up 3000 stall. I am replacing a FTI 3000 single disk. The truck is making about 140 more rwhp than I planned and think I might be over powering the medium duty FTI unit. I also locked it on the Dyno. I'd be surprised if there is a change in ET or MPH at the track but the daily abuse, 18-20K miles a year and light towing should be covered with the high quality converter.

Heavy truck with good power deserves a ~$1200 converter.

Any reason you didn't let FTI build you a triple disk?

No. I had a fti because it was recommended with the purchase of my transmission.

I’ve ran numerous PI converters over the years, I ve been happy with every one as have many others I’ve suggested them too.

Loved my Precision ML in my built LMM Duramax. Lockup wasn't bad and it coupled very well with minimal added heat. They build a quality product.

I've been running a PI 3200 for about 10 years without any issues. I don't like the chatter in park/neutral, but they told me it was normal and never had any issues as a result of it.
