there can be alot of noises dude...

Metal on metal sound?

I had a weird noise i couldnt figure out what it was...
i thought it was the front right hub, because when i made a left turn it would sound off.

Come to find out it was my Carrier Bearings..

no its more of a whine/whistling noise..... doesnt seem to be related to speend but rather rpm.... lower rpm is more of a deep sounding whine... and as you go higher the shine gets higher pitched.... i took it for a ride and got the sound to get nice and loud at about 50mph then i poped it in neutral and it compleatly went away.... im thinking the trans but dont wanna drop that bomb on him untill i know for sure

Could be the rearend...and when the load is taken off(putting it in neutral) the sound goes away. Its hard to tell where sounds are coming from on a vehicle. You tried having someone ride outside the truck?(in the bed or in a vehicle beside it)

jack the rear end up and put jack stands under it and block the tires and put it in gear and get it to make noise and see if you can tell where it is coming from
