Nv149 to 4l80e
 

Looking to swap out my 4l60e to 4l80e soon on a 02 Sierra. This will be paired to a nv149 transfer case. I need to change to a 32spline input shaft in the NV149.

I saw this unit on Ebay. Will it work?

There is adapter for sale right now in the FS section of our forum

I can't comment on the eBay one, as I know nothing about the 149 input

I don't know any one who has tried the one from AMP Drivetrain Components NP14916A.

It certainly is a cost effective alternative, but only time will tell if the hold the power or if they are a cheap knock off.

I see there are 2 companies selling these on Ebay. Was told by seller that the strength of these are same as the stock 27 spline.
I'm going to same some money and give it a try
