Default Notching the frame twice?

I am wanting to turn my exhaust out the right side before the rear tire like the lightning but, I'm to low and am thinking it would get crushed so I was thinking of notching the frame so I can get the exhaust up higher. My question is what do you think about notching the frame there since its already notched for the rearend? I would box it in of course.

I can't remember who did it, but I believe someone went through the frame with a holsaw and then cut a hole in the side of the bed.

I know spoolin had something like that at 1 point but not sure if it went through the frame.

I was just looking through his old threads and it wasn't him although he did have a side exit through the bed.

IMO, I would still reinforce the frame but I think that would be better than another notch through the frame.

i could box the frame then use a pipe to weld in the hole then run the exhaust thru it.

Thats what I did on my 89 Chevy 1500 Sport-side and turned out perfect, but I built a Nascar style boomtube that measured 1 1/2" x 15"
