well its time i start putting focus on my suspension but i dont know where to start. first off i have 4.11s and a eaton locker(2wd) regular cab short bed i have heard alot of people talk about caltracs but i dont know if they are the best, also on there website they have a mono strut( i think thats what they called it). i have no idea what i need or where to start. im open to anything to get the power to the ground.

Everyone love's there Caltracs Not many have there shocks.

 

but for the $339 are they worth it? is there something better?

 

They are the best out there. I have never heard any complaints.

 

or would just buying drag radial be a better solution?

 

Caltracs FTW. Yes they are worth it. They help a bit on the street, but I couldn't believe how good they hooked at the track, I didn't even have a chance to play with adjustments

Its a combination of drag radial and caltracs. once you get drag radials your truck will be hopping up and down on acceleration. Caltracs stops that

 

The drag radials will make the truck wheel hop even worse but the Caltracs will cure the wheel hop and smash the tires into the ground making them grip.

 

what would be a good tire to drive on daily and good/decent for street racing? i have goodyear fotrea on there now and they suck.would a drag radial suck to daily drive on?

 

the setup i decided to try is caltracs, t/a gridle,qa1 shocks, and radial t/a tires.
