Need a Little Stall Education Loose? Tight?

Looking into a stall and have no past experience in this field.

What does it mean if it's loose or tight?
What does "it flashes @ xxxx rpm" mean?

From what I read I guess if I want a little better performance with little or no MPG hit and daily drivability with occasional light to medium towing I want a 2800?

My truck specs in the sig.

Thanks

The xxxx would represent a rpm amount. As stated xxxx rpm.

Just trying to learn the lingo guys.

Never considered a stall so it's new to me. Unlike some the knowledge didn't come to me in the womb. Heh!

I just figured for someone whos been a member since 2004, you'd know how to use the search button. There have been tons of these threads lately.

tight and loose refer to how much gas you have to give it to get the truck moving. For instance with my 3500 I could let off the gas and my truck wouldn't move. With my 2800 I let off the gas and it moves just like stock. I think a 2800-3000 would be perfect for you. Look at circle d's 278mm.

Oh, I know how to search. You tell me the search phrase to get me answers to my post and I'll use them.
We all know the search here is all messed up.

How do you know I did not use the search?

Like I said. You would do yourself a great stress favor if you just moved on to another post instead of being a use the search policeman.

What a piece of work. Nothing in the statement "Use the search" is of any help to anyone ever. It just shows your mentality.
