ET streets sound alot better for 100.00 less per tire. 28x12.50x16

Not to me.
I want a 31"+ tire and I like the built in characteristics of this Tire/Compound.
Of course, the proof will be in the pudding.
It's kinda hard to say the ET streets are better if you've never run this Slick.

Thats what I have been running, looking for best traction possible... I could use a little taller tire also..

I have a set of them mounted on 16x10 Eagle aluminum rims with a set of screws. No tubes on these. I have been running M&H cheaters on my truck for quite a while and after talking with Tom I figured I would give them a try.

I think that the MHD-11 cheater slick hooks way better. The nostalgia tire on a 10 inch wide rim tends to crown under load and you loose effective contact patch. You can see a distinct wear pattern right in the center of the slick so I know I am not getting full contact. I had to air them down pretty low to fight that and they get really loosey goosey at higher speeds. The truck felt like it was wandering all over the place through the traps. Best I could muster with them were 1.99 sixty foot times.

I think my MHD-11's in a 30/14-16 hook way better even with the slightly harder compound. The tire diameter is almost perfectly stock so it keeps the gear ratios right in line. I run these on the same exact 16x10 rim with tubes and they are rock solid at speed and hook sub 1.8 sixty foots.

You may have better luck but I will not buy the nostalgia tire again.

Here is a shot of the MHD-11's in action:

Good info. Nice to hear from someone who's used them.

What BS you running on those 16x10's?

what psi were they crowning at? what psi did you air down to?

What kind of Torque are you laying down?
