Lowering Sprindles - Cutting Lower Ball Joint.

Are there any 2" lowering springs that you do not have to cut the lower ball joint stud? I have seen that McGaughty's has two spindles. One for 16" and larger wheels and one for 17" and larger wheels. I'm assuming it would be easier to get the one for 16" and larger wheels? I tried to see if Belltech had one for each but, I cannot find it on their website.

Thanks Guys.

I had 2" drop spindles on my duramax at one point and had to shave the lower ball joint due to the H2 wheels I had. I got wheels with a 4" back spacing after that and it fixed it and would not have had to shave it down. If you run a 20 or bigger you prolly wouldn't have to at all. I know someone who ran a 20x8.5 with a 0 offset and didn't have any clearance issues. Just food for thought.

Ditto what he said, It depends what size wheels you have, I had to cut mine to clear the factory 16"s using the McGaughty's spindles, and I don't remember cutting them when I had 20's on with the belltechs, and I don't think belltech makes spindles for 16" wheels.
