Default lowered Tahoe Owners, help please

I'm thinking about doing a 2/3 McGaughy's kit on my Tahoe. The only question I have is what do they tow like once they are lowered? Usually with a lowering kit, it is an increased spring rate from factory. I was just curious if anybody had any input on what it was like after they were lowered. Oh, and by towing, I mean an 18' car hauler with about 5600 total towing weight. I've towed it with it stock height with a weight distribution hitch and trailer brakes and it does fine. I just want to know if I'm going to need some helper bags to get it done now. Thanks in advance for any input given.

The bags work great. You can keep it at the desired height with any payload. I don't know if you've got an old body style or not - those have leaf springs are are easy to change the height of. With the link suspension the newer ones have you have to change the springs, I would think. Helper bags smooth it out too.

Sorry, it's an 2002. I know I could put helper bags on it if needed, but the question I had was if they were completely necessary or not. I'm just seeing if anybody noticed any major difference in the way it towed after it was lowered.
