Default Knocking

Guys I dont know if this is the right place, but I've got a prob maybe ya'll can help me with.

There is a "dull sounding bump/knocking" that seems to come through the steering column of my 04 tahoe when I tun the wheel left or right while moving forward or reverse. I jacked the truck up, and can't find anything visible, the tie rods are like new, no slack in the wheels or bearings. The best way I can describe it would be to say that the u-joint in the steering column is loose/going bad, but it too is solid.

Any help or ideas appreciated.

Intermediate steering shaft. There is a Fix for it, take it to you dealer and ask them for it.
