The 3/4 and 1 ton vans with the 80e and 4.3 V6 got a higher stall version as well.

The high stall 4.3 4l60e/65e TC has code DBLF on its sticker.

This will help:

Yea I know about the higher stall of the 6 liter 80E converter but that problems already solved. I've got a Yank SC3000 sitting in a box waiting to be installed.

Nice

I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one of those.

Did mine on a lathe, worked like a charm.

I'm gonna have to hand-file mine down, but I've gotten pretty good at it over the past few years. Only because I'm too stubborn to ask anyone for help or pay someone with a lathe to do it for me LOL

Call me lazy because I am but I still haven't gotten around to doing this. What other mods need to be done besides internally dual fed to the clutches and gear train? Are there any other modifications to the hard parts that need to be done other then whats outlined in the transgo HD2 kit? The valve body doesn't bother me but once I get into the rebuild I want to get the clutches and gear train all gone through and reinstalled in one day so its fresh on my mind. Any tweaks changes or modifications to the valve body can be done at a later time and date if needed.

What do I do about the holes I've already cross drilled in my valve body and oil pump housing? What about the hole for the cheesy looking but effective transgo oil pressure relief valve that bolts to the valve body?
