The outlaw, boss are the 2 best looking ones imo..

I agree. I found a 2003 24' h2x in great shape in Florida for a Damn near irresistible price. Im looking into getting it surveyed now. Anyways, foose, how much did that boat set you back, if you don't mind me asking? (Pm me if you would like) also, as said above that boat, even with a full tank of fuel and gear for the water, probably isn't over 42-4300lbs... just a set of helper bags would be plenty

Well truck is about ready to go pick the boat up. I had to work the weekend, so I pick up the boat Monday. Last night I got the hidden hitch reinstalled and also got the Air Lift Slam Air ride kit installed. Was pretty straight forward, not issues. At 5psi the truck retains the same ride height as well, very happy about that. The hitch ball is 21inch high measured from the top of the ball. I hope that's enough to keep the trailer level. I can't wait to go get this damn thing, truck will be tested on the 5.5 hour pull home! Hell I just drove to ohio 2 weeks ago, poor rig! Go GM, other then a twisted driveshaft, no problems for over 60k miles I've owned it, knock on wood and thank god as well as he heard from before each 1/4 mile pass!! On to the pictures, here a few install shots.

Especially with dual axles on the trailer. I'll bet there's only about 250 pounds on the hitch. Let's start a pool. Whomever's guess is closest to the actual the weight on the hitch gets a ride in the boat, I call, so that's the rule.

Lol, well even it is only 250, that would only leave about 2.5 inches left of travel b4 the truck would bottom out. Now with the bags I should have a little more control. Leaving today to go pick it up!

Where did you buy the Air Lift Slam Air ride kit and how do you like it?

On my '95 Chev. Belltech 5/7 drop with load bags, the lower bracket for one of the bags broke, the bag went askew and now is damaged. I looked at the Belltech site and their "Air Jacker" system is in the $500. range, the bags are dual bellows and it looks like I will have to completely replace the entire system (rather than the pair of bags) and the lower brackets. as the dual bellow bags look like they mount differently on the upper bracket.

My current bags.... look just like the bags in your picture.

I also tow a boat and couldn't without the bags.....

Thanks, Rick

I was wondering why the description says 2wd for my make and model. What would be the difference between a 4wd and 2wd? Can I make it work? I had bags before I lowered my truck and I'm moving across country soon and was thinking about getting these too
